Apple Business Chat and New Website Engages Shoppers On-Demand

SAN ANTONIO — Office Furniture Liquidations is making customer service and engagement even easier with Apple Business Chat, a new website with real time inventory updates, new item text notifications, and Facebook Live shopping and purchasing.

The surge in demand for chairs and desks for home offices due to the COVID-19 pandemic led OFL to nearly perfect the online furniture shopping experience with remote, digital and social media browsing and purchasing.

Apple Business Chat enables OFL to answer customer questions natively in iMessage, secure purchases, and manage payments via Apple Pay. It allows Apple users to find OFL in Apple Maps, start iMessage conversations about furniture specifications from Safari, Maps, Search, and Siri.

The addition of Apple Business Chat and live inventory updates as items arrive or purchased during business hours Monday through Friday enhances the standard texting options available as well as the messaging options for Android users through Google and Google Maps.

Since the January 9 launch of Apple Business Chat, the website experienced a 188 % increase in users when compared to the prior three months. To support this growth, seven OFL team members respond to inquiries via the texting platform. Deliveries by in-house team members year-to-date has jumped 123% compared to the final two months of 2020 as a result of the increase in overall sales traffic.
